Passive Electromagnetic Touch Screen
Passive electromagnetic touchscreen technology, also known as passive capacitive technology, uses a grid of sensors embedded in a screen to detect the presence of a conductive object, such as a finger. When a finger comes in contact with the screen, it creates a disturbance in the electromagnetic field and triggers a response from the sensors. This response is then processed by the device's controller to register the touch as an input.
Passive electromagnetic touchscreens are commonly used in mobile phones, tablets, and other handheld devices because they are sensitive to light touch, have high accuracy, and provide a smooth and responsive touch experience. They also offer improved durability, as there are no moving parts that can wear out or malfunction over time. However, they do not work with non-conductive objects, such as a stylus, and are less suited for applications that require pressure sensitivity or multi-touch gestures. Support customization.
