Capacitive touch technology is a touch technology that utilizes the capacitance changes generated by touching the panel with a finger close to the capacitor. There are two important capacitance parameters for capacitive touch, one is the induced capacitance between the finger and the upper sensing material (such as ITO), and the other is the parasitic capacitance between the sensing materials (such as ITO upper and lower layers) or between the sensing material and the optical panel (such as ITO and LCD).
