The difference between infrared touch screens and capacitive touch screens is that they have grooves and are afraid of strong light. This machine is thick and heavy, but it is cheap. The capacitive touch screen is more suitable for all-in-one machines, with a more beautiful and thinner appearance, making it more suitable for use on pure flat surfaces and easy to implement.
1. Infrared touch screen:
The infrared technology touch screen consists of infrared emitting and receiving sensor components installed on the touch screen frame. Form an infrared detection network on the surface of the screen. Any touching object can operate the touch screen by changing the infrared light of the contacts. The working mode of an infrared touch screen is similar to that of a surface sound touch screen. Use infrared emission and reception detection components.
These elements form an infrared detection network on the screen surface. By touching an object, such as a finger, the infrared ray of the touch can be changed, and then the coordinate position of the touch can be switched to respond to the operation. On an infrared touch screen, the circuit board components installed around the screen are infrared emission tubes and infrared reception tubes, forming a horizontally intersecting infrared matrix.
2. Capacitive touch screen:
Capacitive touch screens are a special type of transparent metal conductive material. When fingers touch the metal layer, the capacitance of the contacts will change, and the frequency of the connected oscillator will also change. By measuring the change in frequency, the touch position can be determined to obtain information. Capacitors can vary with changes in temperature, humidity, or grounding conditions, resulting in good stability and no drift phenomenon. The capacitive touch screen is wear-resistant, has a long lifespan, and has low maintenance costs when used by users. Capacitive touch screen can support multi-touch technology, and it is also less responsive than resistive touch screen, and it is less prone to wear.
