Difference Between Capacitive Touch Screens G+P And G+G

Capacitive touch screens are widely used in various industries due to their advantages such as durability, fast response speed, space saving, and convenient communication. Although they are all capacitive screens, the touch experience is different. This is due to the use of capacitive screen materials. The capacitive screen mainly consists of two parts: the lower sensor glass layer and the upper cover. There are two types of capacitive screens on the market: one is an induction glass+tempered glass cover structure, abbreviated as G+G capacitive screens; The second is a sensor glass+PET plastic cover structure, abbreviated as G+P capacitive screen. Below is the difference between G+G and G+P capacitive screens!
G+P capacitive screen:
The meaning of G+P is sensor glass+PET plastic sheet, abbreviated as G+P, which means that the surface of the touch screen we touch with our fingers is a layer of PET plastic sheet. Screens are mostly concave, but there are also flat mirrors. The inspection method is the same as G+G. Press the edges of the screen with your fingers, which are soft and dented. This is because PET plastic film is not as good as tempered glass capacitors made of G+G. The screen hardness is high, and most capacitive screens made of G+P material on the market are low-end counterfeit phones and most domestic capacitive screen tablets. The G+P material capacitive screen can clearly see dents and even water ripples when sliding, making it easy to scratch and not wear-resistant. The process is simple and the cost is low!
G+G capacitive screen:
G+G represents sensor glass+tempered glass, abbreviated as G+G, which means that the surface of the capacitive touch screen that our fingers touch is a layer of tempered glass. The entire screen is a pure flat mirror. The inspection method is to press the edge of the screen with your fingers. The edges of the screen are very hard and will not sag. Like high-end smartphones from Apple and Samsung, as well as the cutting-edge tablets from Taiwan Electronics, they all use G+G capacitive screens, which are hard and durable. High grinding process requirements and high costs!
The difference between G+G and G+P:
1. The G+G tempered glass capacitive screen is hard and not easy to scratch, while the G+P plastic film capacitive touch screen is easy to scratch, and the screen will be scratched after use for a period of time.
2. The G+G tempered glass capacitive screen is corrosion-resistant, while the G+P plastic capacitive screen will become hard and discolored under the action of acid and alkali oil, resulting in obvious "white spots" and "aerosols", and reduced image clarity!
3. The transmittance of the G+G tempered glass capacitive screen exceeds 91, while the transmittance of the G+P plastic sheet is below 83. The glass is clearer and PET is blurry, which was a common "oil screen" before. Over time, PET will become more and more blurry!
