1. If the user is using a capacitive touch screen, it is recommended that they first install the driver required for the capacitive touch screen according to the relevant instructions when using it for the first time, and then use their fingers to click on "Start", "Program", "Microtouch Touchware" on the screen to run the screen calibration program. After the calibration is completed, The system automatically stores the calibrated data in the register of the controller, and there is no need to calibrate the screen after restarting the system in the future.
2. If the display resolution or display mode of the touch screen is changed again during the operation of the capacitive touch screen, or if the refresh frequency of the touch screen controller is adjusted by oneself and it is felt that the cursor does not correspond to the touch point, the touch screen system must be recalibrated.
3. In order to ensure the normal operation of the touch screen system, in addition to ensuring the correct installation of system software, it is also necessary to remember not to install two or more touch screen drivers on a single host, as this can easily lead to conflicts during system operation and prevent the touch screen system from functioning properly.
4. When using a resistive touch screen, if it is found that the cursor is not moving or can only move in a local area, the user can check whether the touch area of the touch screen is always pressed by other touch objects. For example, once the touch screen is pressed by the display casing or cabinet casing, it is equivalent to a certain point being constantly touched, and the coordinate position fed back to the controller is inaccurate.
5. As mentioned earlier, once the system is changing the display resolution, adjusting the screen size, and installing for the first time, it will be inaccurate or drifting. You need to start the built-in positioning program in the application to reposition. However, it is better to use a thin pen or finger tip to position it accurately.
6. The working environment of the surface acoustic wave touch screen requires high requirements. It must work in a clean environment without dust pollution, and the dust on the surface of the touch screen must be cleaned regularly. Otherwise, when the dust in the air covers the reflective stripes or transducers around the touch screen, the correct positioning of the system will be affected.
7. Do not let water drops or other soft things stick to the surface of the touch screen, otherwise the touch screen may easily mistakenly think that the surface acoustic wave screen is inaccurate due to hand touch. In addition, when removing dirt from the touch screen surface, users can carefully wipe it outward from the center of the screen with a soft dry cloth or cleaning agent, or use a dry soft cloth dipped in industrial alcohol or glass cleaning solution to clean the touch screen surface.
8. If you touch the surface acoustic wave touch screen with your hand or other touch objects, the touch screen response is very slow, which means that the touch screen system is probably old and the internal clock frequency is too low, or because there are water droplets moving on the surface of the touch screen, if you want the touch screen to recover rapid response, you must replace or upgrade the system, or wipe the water droplets off the surface of the touch screen with a cloth.
9. Touch screens typically use serial ports for signal transmission, taking signals from the PS/2 port, while TPS screens are powered directly from the host power supply. If the indicator light is not on, it indicates that the signal has not been received, and the PS/2 cable on the control box may be damaged. If the light is on but still does not flash, it indicates that the control box is broken, so users must replace the control box. If replacing the control box still does not work, it is possible that the screen is pressed too tightly and the screws around it need to be slightly loosened, as the touch screen is made of special materials and is not easily damaged. If the serial port is bad or disabled, it will cause the driver to be unable to install, as it will automatically search for the serial port when installing the driver. Even if it can be installed, there may be mouse immobility or inability to locate. It is best not to use a serial mouse to judge the quality of a serial port, as each of the 9 serial ports may use different methods. If the screen is pressed down or the ground wire is not properly connected, it will cause it to be unable to locate. If there are areas that cannot be clicked or react slowly, it may be affected by dust and the shell needs to be opened to remove the dust.
10. When touching a certain position of the capacitive touch screen with your fingers and the touch screen does not respond, it is likely that the corresponding touch position is not accurate, and the cursor cannot be positioned correctly. If the cabinet shell presses against the touch area, the user can increase the distance between the cabinet and the display screen. If the display shell presses against the touch area, the user can try loosening the screws of the display shell a little.
